They Call Me Dowdy Mommy...
Sigh! I pulled out my box of maternity clothes this weekend. Can you say "dowdy"? I don't think I like any of those clothes. And last pregnancy (4 years ago) was the exact opposite in seasons, so I don't really have transition clothing.
The tune of "Mellow Yellow" keeps coming to my mind but with these words: "They Call me Dowdy Mommy -- Quite Rightly!"

Jenn: I've been in your shoes for almost 14 years (ever since my first pregnancy). I had to rely on my sister's hand-me-downs then. Guess what? I still have some of those. I do *not* care for the current styles (or lack thereof). So Dowdy Mama I am. Oh well, it's only a season in my life. Eventually, I'll be back down to at least size 8 and have my preppy stuff (I never emerged from the 1980's style-wise) back on my frame. ;o)
