More On "Understood Betsy"
Recently I wrote about Understood Betsy.
If you haven't found a copy to read yet, I have great news. The text is online!
For an HTML version, see The Baldwin Project
This link will give an illustrated HTML version, with the original illustrations. Celebration of Women Writers.
Or just download the text or zip file here.
There are a few other titles at The Online Books Page, such as The Bent Twig and The Brimming Cup. I don't know much about these works, but it has piqued my interest.
Kim has recommended The Montessori Manual for Teachers and Parents also by Dorothy Canfield Fisher several times on the Starry Sky Ranch on Montessori. She's a wealth of information, wisdom, and practicality as how to implement Montessori in the home.

Understood Betsy is definitely on our short list of books to read together (as opposed to the no end in sight list of books to read before we die list) !!!

Understood Betsy is one of our favorite, favorite books. We only have a beat-up old paperback copy, but we're going to get a nice new copy one of these days. I'm always so excited to see other people writing about it!
